Announcement: Candy Boy manga

Hey everyone! I think I should finally get this announcement out. It's about Nova and a new manga!

Chapter 4 is in progress, but Twinkle Saber Nova is being put on hold for a bit. Instead, Yi and I will be translating the new Candy Boy manga coming out!

That's right, it will be out within the week. Ecchi Yuri will be providing us the scans, and I owe her my utmost gratitude.

The Candy Boy thread on the Shoujo Ai forums is here. You could follow it for more info and hype.

Also, I'm not sure if Yi wants to finish Twinkle Saber Nova volume 2. More news on that later. For now, just assume Yi is.

More Yuri goodness coming soon! Stay tuned next week for Candy Boy! If it continues monthly, then expect the next chapters too!

RECRUITING EDITORS! Choose from 4 manga!

-EDIT: POSITIONS FILLED! THANKS FOR YOUR INTEREST!-

Hey everyone!

I'm going to need an editor. Long story short: I have 4 mangas. I have first chapters done of each. I need anyone interested to drop me a line saying they want to edit. I'll take the best application, and that editor chooses the manga they want to do. Once chosen, I'll continue translating that manga, and then the editor can either quit after finishing, or choose another manga. Once you're hired, I'll send you the script, and a rescan if it's the second or third choice. Sound good? Great! Here are your choices.
Scans for Tenbin and Keika are courtesy of Echhi Yuri.

EDIT: EDITOR POSITIONS FILLED FOR: Rakka Ryuusui, Tenbin wa Hana to Asobu.

Rakka Ryuusui
% done: script for pages 1-20 done.
Completely scanned.
Yuri content: One of the characters has a secret crush on the other. Nosebleeds to follow.
Age rating: teen and up
School life 4koma Comedy.
I've heard about this one, and hear that people really want a translation of it. Well I want to read it translated too!
Link to volume 1 raw.

EDITOR POSITION HAS BEEN FILLED BY KITE FROM TRANQUIL SPRING.

Tenbin wa Hana to Asobu (It Dances With Flowers)
% done: script for chapter 1 done
Scaning in progress.
Yuri content: One of the main characters finds that she is falling in love with the other main character.
Age rating: teen and up.
School life Romance.
I really want to do this one too. All I know about this so far is... Vampire Yuri!
Temporary link to chapter 1 scans. It will probably be rescanned. This link is for preview purposes only.

NOTE: EDITOR POSITION HAS BEEN FILLED BY DOLOR OF HOROBI NO MICHI.

Assistant Denki Keika
% done: scripts for chapter 1 done
Scanning in progress.
Yuri content: Love between the two main characters.
Age rating: Adult
Shounen.
This is half Shounen, half H. It has a really weird premise. There are these guys who want to take over the world by eliminating manga writer assistants. Tamae, an aspiring manga assistant, is attacked by them but ends up saved by Keika. The two then become really good friends.
Link to a temporary chapter 1. It will probably be rescanned. This link is for preview purposes only.

An editor may still needed for this manga. It is currently being attempted by the raw provider, Ecchi Yuri.

Gokujo
% done: scripts for chapters 2 and 3 done
Completely scanned.
Yuri content unknown.
Age rating: Adult
School life Comedy.
I made a promise a while back that I would do this one. Out of the 4 though, this is the one I want to do the least.
Link to the whole raw manga.

EDITOR POSITION HAS BEEN FILLED BY LELEBURGER OF TSUNDERE TRANSLATIONS.

Finished Iwt, next project! Hiring Editor for Gokujo

Hey everyone.
So I finished translating Itoshi wo Tome and sent the last of the script to Kite. Kite has school to fight through, as well as about 50 more pages to edit. I feel kinda bad that you guys have to wait to read the ending.
Nova chapter 4 of volume 2 is done too, Yi has it, but Yi also has midterms. I myself have midterms coming up, but I have a little time before that.

So here's the deal with Gokujo.
Chapter 1 is done, and hosted at Rainbow Beef.
Chapter 2's script is done, (done by Denkou Nova) and it's half edited. Chapter 2 needs an editor to be completed.

I read through chapter 3. And for me... it's quite difficult. Oh, the scans are clear enough for me to look up all the kanji, I understand all the grammar, even those sound effects and mini thought texts are doable. But the problem is the vocabulary. I keep running into adult/H words I don't know. (They didn't teach those at school... but I'm kind of glad they didn't) And it's kind of embarrassing to ask for help on those. I don't know if it's embarrassing to say this or not, but in both English and Japanese, my adult word vocabulary is very poor.
I ran into strange words when doing the Saki doujin, but I was only able to identify them after a couple hours of google searching.
I said I would do this manga, so I'll do it. Yes, it is hard, so I'll have to try that hard. Though I must admit it would be easier for others. With that said... I won't be doing Gokujo volume 2 when it comes out. I'll let someone else handle it.

Well, bottom line: Gokujo needs an editor for chapters 2-8. Email me if you're interested and I'll send you the raws and DenkouNova's half done chapter 2 in Photoshop format. I'll see if I can do chapter 3 in the meantime.

I took a peek at Rakka Ryuusui too... while it does look good, and it is probably heavily requested, I have two fears: 1 I've never done a 4 koma before, and unsure if I can recapture its charm and humor. 2 I don't know a thing about archery.
But I love Lucky Star and K-on. I'd be very willing to try. I'll give it a readthrough and get back to you.

The last of IwT and the next TSN coming soon! ... after midterms. Study hard, people!

...I don't suppose anyone knows of a website that works like an English-Japanese version of Urban Dictionary?

EDIT: Looking for websites equivalent to Urban Dictionary for Japanese words... so far found one at http://zokugo-dict.com. It's in Japanese, but I'm finding the definitions for more words now. I would be happy to have more links , if you know one, feel free to share! In Japanese is doable, but English would be better!

PS EDIT: Please refer to an older post of mine about what I look for in editors.

New Blog: Yuri Reviews

New blog is up. Tsundere Yuri Reviews. I decided I'll write some reviews on the gigantic collection of yuri works I bought. I am no expert at writing, but if I have a blog I can voice my opinions on, then I'll use it. At the bottom of the page you can see everything I own, and my current wishlist.
All these reviews are my own personal thoughts. If you don't agree with me, discuss. That's what the comment section is for.
I usually sit back and read things to just enjoy them, I'm not very critical on art or story. I'm also used to reading Shounen, so that may impact my writing as well.
It's good writing practice for me, and I hope my views help you decide if you want to purchase a book or not.
My first review is an online store, actually. Feels like I'm almost advertising it. I think I'll review Hayate X Blade, (my favorite series yet) next.

Future Planning. What's next? Need an editor for Gokujo

1. Twinkle Saber Nova: definitely doing volumes 2 and 3. Will 4 ever come out?
2. Gokujo! I've been putting it off too long. I will start it after Itoshi wo Tome is complete.
3. What's next...?

Idea A) Look for something new.
Right now I'm wondering who is going to do the Kannazuki no Miko sequel: Himegami no Miko. Cause I'd really like it to be me! Though I doubt I'll get it, I'm still going to try! One problem: no one knows what the release date is yet. Acquiring the raws may be a problem too. I don't know what else is coming out.

Idea B) Look for something old.
I spent the night looking at manga updates. Through 3 lists: 1, 2, and 3. Using combinations of the Shoujo-Ai and Yuri tags, I used filters to show all of the unlicensed and untranslated titles. There seem to be plenty out there! But after 3 hours of searching, I only found the raws for one title called Rakka Ryuusui, which looks like an archery club style of something like K-on or Lucky Star. I found 4 volumes of it. I found partial raws for another called Scape God, which looked like a Shounen of sorts, but not enough to use.
So before I go charging into a title... I have to find out if anyone is already translating it. I need to find editors too... I will need an editor for Gokujo!

Idea C) Something completely different.
I've tossed around the ideas of fansubbing or translating a visual novel, like one of the Sono Hanabira games. But I wouldn't know where to start.

Well, leave me some ideas. If you have the raws for something you want to see translated, give me a look and I'll consider it. But Nova and Gokujo first!

Next post: I've emptied my wallet on a ton of yuri manga. I now have a very nice collection. So it will be review time!

News update Oct 1.

Hey everyone, quick news.

First, a release. Here's a doujin release, a Saki doujin. I edited it myself, read the post and possibly leave me some constructive criticism.

Second, Itoshi wo Tome is up to chapter 5 with 6's editing in progress. 7 is translated, I'm currently translating 8, and there is a bonus chapter after that.

Third, Twinkle Saber Nova ch3 is near completion. Expect a release by the end of the week.

Fourth, I have greatly increased my physical yuri collection, thanks to Barnes and Noble and Borders. I'll be posting reviews on everything I bought and read... when I get the time to actually read them.

Fifth, I'm probably going to finally pick up Gokujo after I finish IwT. I've been waiting to hear back from Rainbow Beef, who got through halfway of ch2 and sent me what they had, but I guess I'll just pick up where they left off. I'm going to need an editor for it. I don't know yet if Yi is going to continue with Nova (I assume yes), I don't know about Kite, and Beotkkot has been missing in action. Oh well, I'll just build a taco stand at that bridge when I cross it.

Finally, remember you can get up to date news by following me at my twitter.
Right time to go. Ciao, everyone.

IwT ch4, other quick news

First of all, Itoshi wo Tome ch4. Enjoy. Kite is starting 5 soon, which means I better go finish 6-8.
Progress is slow for Nova. Probably won't be done for at least a week.
My classes start tomorrow. Due to that and some issues at home, releases are going to slow down for a while. But the keyword is slow down, not disappear.
I'm pretty sure I put an RSS feed link somewhere eon the page. Be sure to follow that or this blog to see when I get a new release done.
Lastly, Yi drew this avatar for me. Isn't it beautiful?
I'm off to see how much translation I can do before class starts. Catch you later!

Itoshi wo Tome: Kimi Ga Kokoro Wa ch1 released

Itoshi wo Tome chapter 1 is out!

Thanks so much to Kite from TranqilSpring.com! Kite's editing and cleaning was wonderful, and we all can't wait to see the rest of the chapters!

Why are you still reading this post? Get over there and read some manga!

And finally... a message to Beotkkot. Sorry I took your work away... but people have been waiting for a while. I hope to hear back from you sometime.

The Tsundere Wiki

Now this is an interesting project.
I've started up my own wiki page with the primary goal of setting up a list of Japanese sound effects and Kasane Kotoba (Japanese Onomatopoeia).

I tell you people, I can have all the grammar and Kanji sourcebooks in the world to help me translate, but there has forever been one subject I never learned. Sound effects. Of course a native Japanese speaker would understand them. But I'm no native.

I google around often, but almost never find any good sound effects pages.
That's where you come in. If you know some... POST THEM!

As for future uses of the wiki... well, I had this crazy idea. Why not have something my first blog did? A wiki where you could post a translation you make and everyone will be able to see it. And it would constantly grow as people translate their works and post them.

But that could be too chaotic. Also, a place where you can post stuff... I believe 4chan /u/ already exists. Oh well...

Bottom line: this sound effects wiki is meant to be a growing rescource! Use it and contribute!

Editor for Itoshi wo Tome found

Tsundere Translations welcomes Kite from Tranquil Spring!
Kite has voulenteered to edit Itoshi wo Tome.
That means I have to get into action and finish translating the other half of the manga!
Translation of Nova ch3 is about a quarter way done as well. I'll get that to Yi when I can. This chapter is almost as big as the first 2 combined!
With school starting soon for some and now for others, things are going to get hectic. So I'm going to go all out and bring you lots of translated goodness before I have class!
Expect to see some chapter releases of Itoshi wo Tome soon.
Banzai!

Twinkle Saber Nova Chapter 2 is out, IwT news

That's right folks, Twinkle Saber Nova chapter 2 is out! Editing by Yi, translation by moi.

A word of news... school is starting again. That means releases are going to slow down. That is life, I am afraid. But we will still do what we can, when we can.

---EDIT: Editor for Itoshi wo Tome found---

And also... Itoshi wo Tome. 2 whole months and Beotkkot has never once made contact. Yi has declined the offer to work on it.
So I'll just put this out now: We are looking for an editor for Itoshi wo Tome. Please review this post for editor qualifications. Once again, you will need to be able to rotate, crop, clean, and level. The IwT scans are completely unedited, and will be a challenge. Only the serious need apply. (Also, if Beotkkot comes back before you get started, then I'm sure we can work something else out.)

New Manga: Twinkle Saber Nova

Aside from scripts for Itoshi wo Tome, which is now up to chapter 4, TsundereTranslations hasn't released in a while. But we now have a new manga done! Check it out! We did a Shounen type (with implicit yuri of course) manga this time. It's called Twinkle Saber Nova, and so far we have the 1st chapter done.

This was our first edit with Yi, who did an excellent job. I couldn't be happier.

We both worked hard on this! We hope you enjoy it!

Welcome to the new menu!

Welcome to the new main menu!
First of all, the old Yuri resource website where I post most of the stuff I find has moved. Now it's TsundereYuri.blogspot.com.
From now on, TsundereYuriko.blogspot.com directs you here. At this page, you can access each blog and my news posts. This also finally gives me the spot I wanted for news.

If you followed me before, or if you are looking to follow me, this would be the page to follow. I'll post every new doujin, upload, translation, etc, update here, and link it, so you won't miss a thing.
Sometimes I ask myself why I made so many different blogs. Well, there's a lot of stuff! Rather than have a million different tags to click, having several differentiated blogs helps reduce your search time. I think it works out that way.

All news posts will be here. Soon, I'll start doing some reviews or something. Surprised I haven't written any yet. I'm not that great of a writer, but this is my blog, and I can still write whatever I want!

Yi is currently hard at work on our new manga. There will be a post about here when it's done. I'm going back to work on more Itoshi wo Tome now. A chapter or two of that, then I'll maybe I'll start Gokujo, then back to chapter 2 of our new manga again. Good stuff won't stop coming your way!

Also... I just want to say a little thing about me. This is the biggest side project I have ever had. And usually when I start something, I never finish it. TsundereTranslations has been a first for me! I've finally found something I can commit to and complete. I look at my completed scripts and the final products, then I enjoy reading all your comments and everything you have to say. It's you guys who helped me keep going. Beotkkot, Yi, and every encouraging reader here... thank you. I've come a long way, all thanks to you!

And what we need from you:
Check out my wicked coding skills! Look at that table! Yes, it is sad. I only know how to code tables, links, and pictures. If anyone out there is proficient with html and wants to spruce up my layout, give a shout!
Remember we are open to submissions, most particularly from anonymous translators and translators without a website. I won't accept anything else from a website I already link to. Help build the blog! Also, I want to start an art gallery sometime containing original user created art. Submit some original yuri-ish works, and I'd be happy to put it on display here!

If you need a blog of mine to follow, follow this one! Don't forget the Twitter too! Hope the new menu here is useful! Please report any broken links to me as a result of the move! Thanks in advance!

PS: We miss you Beotkkot! Please come back!

Hiring Editors... Inquire within.

Hey Everyone,

---EDIT: NEED EDITOR FOR ITOSHI WO TOME---
---EDIT: Position being filled---

Bet you're wondering why you've seen less releases lately, and why the newest one is coming out so slowly.
On a good day, I get over 5 pages done in no time. But I've been so down recently.
It's because I haven't heard from Beotkkot in over a month.

I don't know what her story is. Perhaps she is busy, or sick, or something else.
Regardless, she is missing in action, and TsundereTranslations needs an editor or two.

It gives me great pain to say this, but I am now hiring editors. Editors to add to the staff, not replace Beotkkot. She will always have a place here and can return whenever she wishes.

Being an editor at Tsundere Translations, you can work at your own pace and edit any way you want. I will translate as much as I can and keep sending you scripts, and you are to do them at your own speed. I will try to make it so you will always have a script to work on. Keep in mind we only translate yuri and yuri-like works.
But you must meet these qualifications:
1 Deadline dates are never made, but you should be able to work if you say you can. Don't take a job and never do it.
2 You should be able to clean raw scans, enter text, do sound effects, and be able to precisely crop, rotate, and level. Being able to level is important.
3 You should have some experience. If you show talent but have no experience, I will test your ability to edit a doujin before letting you do manga.
4 You must have a good image editing program, Photoshop is one example. You must be proficient and able to use it well.
5 Basic Japanese knowledge is preferred, but not required.
6 You must have a good concept of the English language. That includes being able write coherently with good grammar and spelling.
7 You must have a positive attitude and have fun.
You CAN:
Work for other translators and freelance at the same time
Take vacations and leave other editors to take over, just let everyone know
Suggest mangas/doujins you wish to work on
YOU MUST NOT:
Take credit for anyone else's work, only what you do.
Go against the script, unless I'm allowing it. (Like if I describe a sound effect and leave the exact word up to you.)
Disrespect any other staff or readers.
For my email, just scroll up and look left. Send me links to any doujins/mangas you have edited with a brief description of your skills and experience as a resume.

Please let it be known that I am very hesitant to have a new editor work on Itoshi wo Tome right away. It is Beotkkot's work, and she is already done cleaning the first chapter. I'll probably have you do another work first, then move to Itoshi wo Tome last if Beotkkot still hasn't written me back.

I will be hiring one new editor for now. I will think about a second.

I hope there are some quality editors out there. I look forward to working with you.

-TsundereYuriko

Temporary release method and new manga

Hello everyone!

Please direct your attention to here and check out the new manga!

I haven't heard from my editor in a while. I am quite sad about it, but the releases must go on.
I have not the ability to edit this manga myself. Alternately, you will instead be receiving a page by page script update of our newest work.

The new work is called Itoshi wo Tome. Wings of Yuri made this work possible for us, and we are very grateful to them for it! Shijima provided us the scans.

As of this moment, I do not know when (I dare not say if) Beotkkot will be back in action to deliver us the high quality edits we all know and love. Until that time, please check back on the translation progress blog. I aim to update it daily, if not at least 5 days a week.

Please enjoy!
-TsundereYuriko

***EDIT***
Please, I know I basically have a script up, but I'm not accepting any editor applications at the time. I appreciate the offer, but Beotkkot and Beotkkot alone will be the editor of this manga. Just hang tight and wait for this great upcoming release!

Release 4! What? Another doujin release?

Yup. That's right, after 4-5 months we are up to our 4th translation! Click for link to post. I should probably stick this on on 4chan too after we release version 2.

You know, I originally said I wanted to do a translation about every other month, but, who is complaining, right?

I've also recently got a new slew of doujins to sort through and tag. I found a torrent on Dead Frog that is almost 1 gig full of yuri doujins. I took a look at the list and noticed a few I already had. Let's hope for some new material.

Glad to see the chatbox is a hit. I feared it would be horrifically and cruelly spammed. Sadly, there's no way to moderate it's messages (that I know of) so if it is spammed and abused I will be forced to take it down...

Even with some new stuff now, progress is slow. I'm working hard attending extra school to get my dream job, and that doesn't leave any free time. Expect a ton of good stuff (including the next translation release!) around mid-July! The next translation is a loli shoujo ai doujin of sorts. It's from Lucky Star. I'm sure no one is complaining. The main story is translated, I just need to do the written story and omake at the end. By the way, speaking of Lucky Star, don't expect to see any 4koma (4 panel) work from us... they give my editor nightmares. That's why we left the omake alone in our Persona 3 release. But if you are a translator, you may feel free to cover whatever we miss and be credited for it!

TsundereYuriko, signing off! And doing tons of homework...

Free Speech Day 2009

Ok, so my editor has gone missing in action, and I have been incredibly lazy and busy with summer classes. Translations have to wait for my editor and I to get back in touch and get back on our feet. A couple new doujins up soon. But that's not what I wanted to talk about. This being a blog, I feel that if I have something important to say about anything remotely related, then I shall post. Today's topic is my views on Free Speech.

As you read you will see that I am not a very good writer. I never have been. My talents lie elsewhere, but I try. Even if I can't artistically express myself, I can still get a point across. Nevertheless, here I go.

So, June 4 is officially (as official as it gets on the internet) Free Speech Day, and someone has made a website here. The website and day is in response to China’s decision to further censor the Internet. So I think to myself… just how much do I support Free Speech? And how far should Free Speech go?

Firstly, let me state that all I say furthermore is my own personal opinion. I believe that it should be allowed to be heard, and I have every right to write it. I mean no one any harm with my words, and wish to offend no one. Though I must be careful as I write as I may offend someone… don’t take it to heart, ok?

I personally am still conflicted about my true belief on free speech (as well as my true belief on many other things, but those are stories for other days) as well what I believe it should be like. But I have two things I have come up with. What I say here are the top ideas in my head right now. They are by no means final statements.

-First: I believe that anyone should have the right to say anything, and be allowed to be heard, but should have a truthful viewpoint. That also means that anyone who wants to listen should be able to listen, and they are entitled to the truth.

Take this example. War propaganda. No matter what war it is, they make it seem like we are winning, like everything is going smoothly, and they “forget” to be concise about real losses. As of this moment, from what you read from the papers, doesn’t it seem like the war in Iraq is going well? It isn’t. I talked to a soldier on leave recently, and had interesting things to say. We are not winning. It’s nowhere near over. And he needs to go back for more hell. The media lies to us, but only because it has to. But that doesn’t make it right.

-Second: I believe that anyone should be able to say whatever they want… but RESPONSIBLY. People these days just say “oh it’s in the constitution, it says I can say whatever I want.” Yes, you should be able to say whatever you want. But like any other action, you need to think of the repercussions. Yes, you are free to drop your piano off your roof in a fit of rage… but you need to make sure it’s not going to fall on anyone, right? Same goes for free speech. Don’t just demand to say anything because you are entitled to it. Think of others first. Yes, you should be free to say what you want. But if you hurt someone, then it’s only right that you face consequences. (And understand that you would have to clean up that piano after, too.)

Finally, I have issues with the definition of “constitutional”. America’s wig wearing forefathers entitled us many rights, but the question is did they foresee changes in the future and compatibility issues? This day and age is not the same as 1776. Can you imagine if every single person was allowed to carry a firearm these days? The right to bear arms has certainly been altered. They didn’t see the possible future problems of the right to free speech either. Their concern was with newspaper and books, little did they know about phones and internet! Bottom line of this paragraph: just because it’s constitutional then doesn’t mean it’s correct in this day and age. As America changes, so do the laws need to change with it. I believe that Free Speech needs to change from its original writing. Not entirely change per se, and certainly not be removed. I believe I am thinking of the word "adapt".

And that brings me to the website. There are so many more things I want to put here or say. Things like yuri loli or essays bashing yaoi or futanari to death. But I don’t. Why? Because people would be offended by it. Even if I would have no problem doing it, and because it's the internet I can, it doesn't mean I'll do it. People already offended by yuri or hentai just need only pass my website by, but any ‘higher offense’ and they would be angry. I do not believe drawn loli to be the same as pornography, but there are many who do, and I don’t care to argue with that. In case an argument starts, then you’re right, I’m sorry, oh look I don’t even have any perverted loli anyway. Just some nicer stuff like Lucky Star doujins. And if I say things I truly think about yaoi, then I could really hurt the feelings of one who likes it. I know a couple diehard yaoi fans among my friend groups, and don’t want to hurt their feelings either. So rather then bash, I’ll respect. More people win that way.

So, I guess these are my final thoughts. Free with the right to hear. Free with the right to say, but responsibly. And free with respect for others. Use common sense. Think of others more than yourself. I say again, don't bash, just respect. And if you want to speak out against something, always say why. Always give your reasons and, if you can, a better alternative. And always do so in a way that you won't hurt anyone.
And that’s all I have to say. As for other current events... don't even get me started about California's Proposition 8... if you want my short answer on that, then I am extremely angry about it and a constant full supporter of gay marriage. (You couldn't tell? I run a freaking yuri website.)
But that is a rant for another time. Please, feel free to leave any comments if you wish. It is your right to.

100th post! Tried Advertising on 4chan again... and Shoujo-Ai.com too

Dear you fortunate yuri loving interwebber,

With every advertisement is a new introduction, as I now expect higher traffic. I would hope... on with the post! (Edit: link is now dead)

Hi! I'm Tsundere Yuriko. I upload tons of yuri and tag it. Here you will find only yuri, and no straight or funtanari or other stuff. Everything is carefully tagged by me so you always know what you are reading.

My database constantly grows. I'm always on the lookout for new additions.

Edited dates and numbers, May 7:
I also translate. As of this very moment of May 7 2009, I have 3 translations complete and 3 pending completion. (Translations are done, but the editor is taking their time.)

Beotkkot, who hopped on board starting with my second translation, is an experienced editor who teamed up with me in name of all things great and yuri to deliver into you great doujin translations for free.

We decided to do a Lucky Star doujin as our 6th release... if I can find one. Accepting requests and submissions: Lucky Star, preferably non adult. So, c'mon, don't be shy, send one in!
Edit: We chose one. It is called Selfish 2. Expect it's release any day now.

Explore the blog, kick back, and dig into some high quality pure yuri. I made a lot of news posts recently, so just scroll down to check out all of my collected releases. Catch you later!

Right. This is my 100th post if anyone cares. (faked cheering)

Me advertising other websites. About new releases. Oh. And 3rd translation.

Last post, I uploaded a nice translation from Yurihime Wildrose. I'm assuming it was a joint project between Lililicious and Dynasty Scans.
(Edit: I was wrong. They each did different stories. Dur, I need to check my facts more often.)

Lililicious has lots of really good translated yuri, both older teen audience and adult. They translate and host Yuri Hime! That is just awesome!

They have too much there... it would take me ages to bring it all over to my blog and host it. And why would I, when it's all right there? They only have the highest quality stuff, it doesn't even need to be tagged.

Check out Lililicious if you have never done so already. I can't stress how awesome they are. Definitely one of the best yuri websites out there.

Oh. And Dynasty Scans is great too. Though I wish they had an organized download section. They also do a variety of genres, not just yuri. I have a few of their releases on my blog already.

I may as well point out now that I've become less keen about ripping other's releases and sticking them here. I'll keep what I have here now as a "preview" to other groups' work. I'm sure they would appreciate it if guests downloaded their work from their websites. So no, I will not grab every new yuri release that comes out and host it here. I WILL link to these websites, and if you follow my blog, follow the ones I follow as well. Places like Wings of Yuri, Dynasty, and Lililicious are always coming out with new stuff... check them out too.

I WILL continue add new stuff I find that doesn't seem to be from any major group or from anonymous translators. Sound good? I also want to say... if you're an anonymous translator who needs a place to put their work... why put it on 4chan /u/ to be forgotten 11 pages later? I'll host it here! =D

Well, anyway, 3rd translation is done. It's a Sailor Moon Shoujo-Ai with Michiru and Haruka. Please enjoy.

Release number 2 is done!

Hey! You! Get yourself over to my Translation Blog and check out the newest release!
And translation number 3 is already in progress.

A professional editor has offered to help, so expect a higher quality release than release 1 was!

And...

No one is sending me any Yuri or other submissions. C'mon people, SOMEONE has to have something I don't. I only have 80 translated releases right now, there HAS to be more. Currently open to translated submissions... anyone? C'mon, submit now and I'll send you a free Taco Bell combo meal!

(please allow combo meal 4-6 weeks delivery)

Translation 2 coming!

First up: Translations.
Yup, I have been working on my second translation! All translation has been done by me, so all that is left is editing. I accepted the help from someone experienced to do all the editing for me, which is great! We can all thank Beotkkot, who does some freelance translations around 4chan. As soon as that is done, turn to the translation blog to see our completed work!

Second: Other blogs.
I'm really glad I allowed the 'Followers' function, and happy to see some followers already. It allows me to check out the tastes of people who like my website, and I've got to see other Yuri blogs I haven't seen yet. One I found in particular I enjoyed reading was a reviews and rants blog called Strawberry Lilies.
Anyway. Watch this. As the original poster said, if you do not lol, you are not a true Yuri fan. I watched it and loved it. Wanted to share it with anyone who hasn't seen it.

(Third.)
(Hm... this is embarrassing. Honest to heck, I had no idea the word taco could be used like that. Makes me feel all embarrassed that I chose to use tacos as ratings for my uploaded doujins... I just REALLY like tacos, burritos, and other Spanish food, darn it! Then again... do I dare say it's thematically appropriate?)

Yay! I'm popular now. Maybe.

First of all. My first comments! I would like to take this moment to thank EVERYONE who has left me comments. It makes me really happy. Positive commenters have given me the strength to continue, and the trolls gave me a good laugh. I've viewed Yuri boards and many other boards before, so I know, and I wasn't surprised. Thanks to everyone saying don't take the trolls seriously, as I don't.

So. News post.
Ok, so apparently more people found my thread on 4chan. I had assumed it was pushed back and lost past the 11th page for deletion, but as of this moment its still hanging in there, with both the expected positive and negative comments alike. I think the thread is still alive at this link. (Hm... never mind. It's dead now.)

Looks like some people don't like the name I chose. Well, too bad, cause I'm not changing it.

It also appears I have been trolled for the first time. My response? I can only laugh. I expected that to happen. One of the biggest nitpicks I can't help but laugh about is that I capitalize Yuri. So? Yuri! Yuri Yuri Yuri Yuri Yuri Yuri! Hmm... maybe I'll spell it yur-Oh no wait I lied, Yuri. Hehehe.

On the good side, I recieved an offer for someone to typeset for me... which is great. I found it difficult to edit release 1, so maybe I'll take that person up on the offer. This means higher quality releases from an experienced editor!

Translation will always be done by me, but I suppose if someone is willing, I can accept the help! I suppose I would ask for these kinds of positions...

Translator (me)
Japanese native speaker translation checker
Cleaner/Editor (taken?)
Typesetter (taken?)
Quality Checker
Promoter
Website editor.

So... I'm still thinking. But right now I should get some schoolwork done.
Yeah... a website editor. Someone who can spruce up my blog. All I know is basic HTML from that computer class I had to take. Some people say my blog is hard to view and read.
But never fear, more releases to follow. In a few days I start uploading all my Japanese Yuri doujins... then work on the next release... maybe even get some video clips uploaded somewhere.

Thank you everyone for your support!
-T.Y.

80 releases! Holy cow. Also, submission rules.

80 releases. Wow. I deem my blog open. Time to advertise it!
Today, I tried putting up my first translation on 4chan.
Didn't go so well. Was it a bad plan?
My translation went ignored save for two comments, and was pushed back into the end pages within hours.
First comment said do not associate self with /u/ or 4chan as a whole, and to get out while I could. I really don't know what to make of that.
Second said to use autoleveling during translation and editing. Whatever... that... is? And also to use a different layout, as this is hard to read. Is it really?

Comments, anyone? What should I make my blog look like... and how should I do that?

Ok! So. Submissions. (last edited June 8 2009)
Well, we have reached the fullest extent of my English collection. With that, submissions for ENGLISH doujins will open, and I will start uploading my Japanese doujins soon. Like, in a few days. I need a break.
Here are the rules! Help me fill up my website! Submit stuff to TsundereYuriko at gmail.com with either Art Submission or Doujin Submission in the subject line. Give me a link, or zip the folder. Doesn't matter to me.

Remember, we are trying to make one of the BIGGEST and BEST Yuri databases on the planet! Contribute!

1: Doujin Submissions.
1: I am open to Translated and Japanese Yuri, Translated and Japanese Shoujo Ai, and Translated and Japanese Shoujo Ai Loli. (READ: Little to no Yuri Loli... for now at least)
2: If I know something is licensed in the US, I may refuse it.
3: Look carefully through my website before you submit something to avoid duplication. There is a search bar. Use it.
4: NO GURO, NO HEAVY VIOLENCE, NO FUTANARI, NO STRAIGHT, NO SCAT.
5: Upon post, you will be credited in a name you choose. You may leave an email or website if you like.
6: I refrain from uploading anything done by a group already in my links section. People can just go there and get it and see what else the group has done. Any translation I already have will stay as an advertisement.
Examples: Wings of Yuri, Dynasty, Lililiscious, etc.
7: If you are an anonymous translator or a translator with no website, this is a great place to submit! If you want to be a regular contributor, I can create a tag that would let people search all your translated submissions here!

I of course, continue to scavange the internet myself for yuri in my spare time. But all help from you is appreciated!

2. Art Submissions. I will be starting a fanart blog for others to show their love for Yuri.
1: I mean art YOU DRAW YOURSELF, not stuff you find laying around online.
2: Follow rule 4 above.
3: If you request your image be taken down, then so it shall be. Otherwise, I am in control of displaying your image on the art blog, but promise to not display it anywhere else or edit it in any way.
4: Fan art of already existing characters are fine. But don't be scared about being original!
5: Always mark your submission as safe viewing or adult.

By the way, I will be accepting fanart of my own original characters... but at this time I have not developed them yet... I will be asking later for submissions of art of my characters to be used for my translation releases. (Sadly I am not good at drawing... that's why I'll need help from someone to help develop my original characters after I provide some roughs)

Bottom line! Enjoy the website!
I do this because I want to! I'll never ask for money. All I ask is for your help! Translation tips, improvement comments, spreading the word, submissions, they are all greatly appreciated!

Tsundere Yuriko signing off!

Collection 7 done.

Well, that was small. But here is the compilation for now.

Now, the last collection for a while, until I find enough Yuri to overflow the previous collections and make new ones.
Next is Collection 8, "I Will Always Love You." It contains more doujins as close to a single "Y" tag as possible.

After this, I can focus on translation.

-Yuriko

PS: This was another small collection! If I find more for this tag, it will be compiled into the main .rar, and an update notice will be given!

Collection 6 complete.

Collection 6? Download all at once? K.

Finally! Done with the stuff I don't like.
Next up is collection 7! "It's a Party". It deals with groups of people, involving the Three and Four tags. Who says three is a crowd?

-Yuriko

PS Since this collection is small, more content may be added in future posts. If so, a note will be provided and the collection compilation will be updated.

Collection 5 done.

Here is Collection 5 version 2. Glad it's over with.

Now is Collection 6, another one of the sub-genres I don't like. I titled it "Overpowered" and consists mainly of tags including Female Domination, possible light bondage, and rape.
Like I said before, if I consider a rape too violent, it won't be put up on the website.

Keep in mind not everything in a collection such as this is all bad. Remember domination can still happen with consent.

I really don't know what to do for my next translation! I should really start advertising my website and get some responses!

And if you've just stumbled in, by all means, leave some comments!

-Yuriko

Collection 4 Complete! Translation 1 redone!

Full .rar of Collection 4: I Still Love You.
And the folder itself.

Translation 1 re-released!

Well, I can now officially say I have a translation done. But I'm barely half done uploading all my English doujins! I'll start my next translation as soon as I upload everything. That is, if I can balance work, school, and taco night and have time for it...

Hm... what story should I translate next? I'm open to suggestions!

The next collection is the one I am the least excited about. It's called "Collection 5: Don't Stick That There." It centers around tools and... other items. I'm really only doing it now to get it out of the way. I also won't be rating anything in this collection because I am totally biased against it... otherwise, just think each one as having a rating of a 3 week old bean burrito. (You can tell I really don't like this sub-genre, huh?)

Collection 3 Done! Translation #1 is done!

Collection 3: Yearning for you. (Version2)

That collection was a little small. If I find more, I'll add to it.

And! My first translation! It's called Watashi Dake wo Mitete Ne, from Pia Carrot 3.
Check it out!

So, a few more collections and I'll be in business. Would be nice if I could get the word out and start getting some page views...

Collection 4 is a continuation of Collection 1, called "I Still Love You". More doujins that are as close to having pure "Y" as possible!

-Yuriko wants some tacos.

PS Since this collection was small, more content may be added in the future. It will be noted if this happens, and the compilation will be updated.

Collection 2 Done! Translation #1, 50% Complete!

Download Collection 2, Oh Sister, complete collection (version2).
Link to the online folder.

6 more major collections to go. =D
Then I start uploading all my Japanese Doujins and open submissions.
Collection 3 is called "Yearning for You" and will include English doujins with the 'M' tag. In such stories, it usually goes on with one girl pleasing herself calling out the name of the one she yearns for, is usually caught or musters up her courage to confront her and it's all downhill from there.

My first translation is coming nicely! I fully translated the script, cleaned all the word balloons, and already filled half them in. As soon as I finish it, I will actually be open to submission for ideas for my next translation.

-Yuriko

PS Since this collection is small, more content may be added in future posts. If so, a note will be provided and the collection compilation will be updated.

Collection 1 is in the bag! Website started! Happy Valentine's Day!

Complete Collection 1- I Love You (Y) ~100 Megabytes (Mediafire)
Or check out the folder.

Hello all! Well, there isn't anyone here yet at the time. My first translation is coming along, and I plan to release it on 4-chan to get some traffic.
The first collection is up! It is called Collection 1: I Love You. I made it by organizing all my tagged doujins and selecting ones with just the Yuri tag or with one or two other harmless tags attached. Collection 2 will be called "Oh Sister" and will include incest. If you do not want to see any incest, just skip the next collection.

Again if you missed the news, you can download the collection file instead of each file marked 'collection1' individually.

And... what a coincidence to be starting officially on Valentines Day! Remember this day is more than just buying some chocolate for someone you like. Make sure you do something really nice for them... or even with them!

And for me this marks 2 years since well... lets just say not everyone has the happiest of Valentine's Days. I hurt the feelings of someone by saying I liked them and still regret it to this day. That friend of mine just wasn't... either ready... or even into me. In the end I permanently lost a good friendship. Wherever that person is now, I wish them the best of luck and the hope that they have a happier Valentines Day than the one I ruined. And I cannot even begin to say how sorry I am. Gomennasai.

But remember that time heals all wounds. To all you out there who are down on their luck, just remember that good things come to those who wait, and you just may find true love someday. If you don't think something is going to work out for you, don't rush it with a "romantic" proposal just because it's Valentine's Day. That is the best advice I can give.

I always think to myself that I will never find anyone... but I should listen to my own advice right?

That aside, Happy Valentine's Day. And enjoy my website. I'll have more content soon.

What the heck do all these things mean? Also, some things to say. What I endorse and not.

Edited 5/8/09

Newcomers (NOOBS-ehem, excuse me, Newbs) to the internet, particular to the anime doujinshi and image community, may not know what all these things mean. Whether it is a term or commonly untranslated Japanese term, this place is for you!

Part 1: Terms
Anime: Japanese Animation. I really hope you know that much. Also called Japanimation.
Manga: The book form of Anime. Or is Anime the animated version of Manga? Manga is usually read right to left, just like almost all other Japanese reading material.
Doujin/Doujinshi: Parody works of a sort. Copyrights seem to be a little looser in Japan, and Doujinshi writers write their own fanfiction manga of any anime/manga series. It is a misconception to say all Doujinshi are Hentai. Many of the releases on this website are Doujins, but not all are, such as official magazines like Yurihime. For simplicity sake, I call manga-like material I upload doujins because you can't always tell the difference.
Hentai: It's the exact opposite of a basket full of kittens. Hentai is essentially the Japanese drawn version of pornography. People under 18 are recomended to not view Hentai material.
Yuri: A genre in manga, anime, etc, that pertains to mature and likely sexual female/female relationships.
Yuri also means "Lily" in Japanese. In case you were wondering why my blog background was lilies. =D
Yaoi: A genre in manga, anime, etc, that pertains to mature and likely sexual male/male relationships.
Shoujo-Ai: A genre that pertains to female/female relationships. Usually ok for all audiences.
Example: Yurihime is a magazine focusing on Shoujo-ai relationships.
Shounen-Ai: A genre that pertains to male/male relationships. Usually ok for all audiences.
(I don't have an example)
Shoujo: A genre usually focusing on females as main characters, usually in a love/real life setting.
Example: Skip-Beat is a Shoujo.
Shounen: A genre usually focusing on males as main characters, usually involving fantasy or adventure.
Examples: One Piece, Naruto, Dragon Ball Z, and Bleach are all popular Shonen titles. Shounen Jump circulates in the US and Japan.
Mecha: Mecha genre focuses on science fiction and fights involving robots.
Example: Evangelion is a Mecha anime.
Sentai: A genre focusing on heroes in spandex trying to save the world.
Example: Power Rangers is an American form of Sentai.
(more genres to come as I think of them)

Other terms:
Tsundere: Personality type of someone who acts brash and agressive on the outside but can be modest, loving and nice on the inside. Usually for a female character. Wiki definition.
Yandere: A personality type used to describe someone of the opposite nature of Tsundere. They seem kind and loving at first, but can end up being deranged, angry, and psychotic. Wiki definition.

Part 2: Lost on Translation:
san: mister/miss
chan: like san, only for younger people/girls
kun: like san, only for younger people/boys
Oneesan/Oneechan: Older sister.
Oniisan/oniichan: Older brother (oniikun does not exist)
(name)-Ne, (name)-ni: Adding ne (sister) or ni (brother) to a name is sometimes used to adress an older sibling.
Nihongo: Japanese
Eigo: English
Nihon: Japan
Nihonjin: Japanese person
Oi, ne, naa: Hey
Mou!: C'mon already, jeez.
Fufufu: (laughing)
Are!?: (pronounced A-reh) Eh? What?
ossan/occhan: old man
basan/bachan: Old lady
(name)-Sama: A Mr. or Miss with a great amount of respect implied.
Ojousan: Landlady
(more to come as I think of them)

Part 3: My tags:
I cover many subgenres when I tag uploaded works. Here is an explanation of each tag, even ones I do not use.
First, tags I DO use:
(Y) Yuri.
(S) Shoujo-Ai.
(B) Bondage: Tieing up. Torture. Whipping. Chaining. Many scary things happen in Bondage. Sane people may not enjoy it, but maybe sadists will...
Only light amounts of bondage are overlooked on my website. Anything torturous or extreme will be overlooked or thrown into a waste basket at the nearest Taco Bell.
(3, 4) Three/Four: Sometimes a doujin may include a small crowd or party of people together.
(T) Tools: In adult material doujins/images/videos, one may try to enhance their experience with a tool, most often a vibrator.
(D) Dildo: An extreme use of a larger tool. Use your imagination. Or better yet, don't.
(L) Lolicon: From the word "lolita complex" meaning liking little girls. Includes loli, a term for an underage girl. Lolicon hentai can be considered pedophilia material, and can be deemed illegal.
(F) Female Dominance: Not to be confused with rape. One simply has another under their control, and the other is usually at least semi-willing.
(U) Furry: Well. How to describe this. Sometimes characters take on animal-like qualities, most commonly a cat tail and cat ears.
(N) Nekomimi: Not as extreme as Furry. Limited to only ears and a tail, while looking mostly human. Nekomimi pertains mostly to catike people, but I also use this term for another animal-like people.
(R) Rape: Sex without consent. Enough said.
Some lighter degrees of rape may be overlooked on a doujin or two. Please let it be known that even if I have some rape content uploaded onto this website, I in no way endorse or personally approve of it. Women are raped in life, and it is truly a horrible concept to even think about. I would never under any circumstance rape anyone, nor would I ever wish it upon any other person. The fact that rape even exists is one of the many reasons I disdain men in general. Let it also be known I am not a feminist, but I share many of its views. (I could never call myself a true feminist... I mean look, I have a pornography website)
I am done preaching now. I just felt that it had to be said. I could say more, such as yes I know women rape too, but never to the extent men do. Ok, I am done. This can be a whole other topic for a side blog if need be.

Now ones I DON'T use:
Futanari: Dickgirl genre. A woman has a penis whether by magic, some crazy science fiction, or she was born that way. You can imagine what happens next with the other girl. Or not.
Futanari will never be accepted on my website. There are many others that have it, I even link to a few. Go there for it.
Please let it be known I do not discriminate against hermaphrodites or people with similar circumstances. I understand that some people are just born that way, and they can do nothing about it. I just choose not to host this genre.
Scat: Number 2. Dropping the kids off at the pool. You know what it is.
Scat will never be allowed on my website. I find it very disgusting.
Guro: Severed limbs and buckets of blood. Possibly pure torture and pain beyond words.
No, no, no, no, no, and no. Oh wait maybe-no. Never on my website. I may allow maybe a wound or two, say some characters are fighting evil or trip down some stairs... but no otherwise. If there is a small-medium amount of blood for any reason, it will be carefully tagged.
Bestiality: Sexual contact or intercourse with animals.
Bestiality will never be allowed on my website. Its even illegal.
Shotacon: Shota is used to describe content with young boys. Shotacon hentai can be considered pedophilia material, and can be deemed illegal. It comes from the word Sho, meaning few, small, or young. (The word Shonen in Shonen jump means few and years, use to describe a young lad)

Comments are appreciated. I pray I have covered enough and an argument does not escalate. If one does, I will do my best to mediate.

Release Format

Alright, I'll be getting started soon! I've almost got enough material together. For now, let's talk release method.

I will be releasing a single doujin at a time per post with: sample image (usually cover), tags, the taco rating*, and any comments. Oh, and the download link. I guess that's important.

After as close to 100 megabytes of releases later, I'll provide a rar file of the last set of releases. That way you can download multiple doujins at once rather than one at a time. I say 100 meg because that's the Mediafire free limit.

In such, I'll try to keep collections either as closely related or unrelated as possible. That way, you either get lots of stuff you like, or just skip the collection file and get 1 or 2 individual files elsewhere. By related, I mean either tags or series, but it will still be a little haphazard.

Translated releases will be in collections of their own.

I will be using Mediafire and perhaps rapidshare for each file. You will be able to access my Mediafire account at mediafire dot com slash TsundereYuriko. You can download from there too, and you can bet the filenames will be tagged.

Well, the website will be adding its first Yuri soon! I bet you can't wait! I want to kick off the opening with a translation, but I I'll just start uploading if it takes too long.

After about 10 collection releases or so (yeah, I think I DO have over a gig) I will open up submission. I'll also compose a master list of everything I have so you can see if you aren't sending me any duplicates.

I shall also consider uploading image collections if enough people express their wishes for it. In the meantime, I'll be sure to add image search websites (like the boorus and chans) to the link lists as I discover them.

Catch you later! First releases coming soon!
I also need to draw my imaginary "cast". You'll see.
-Yuriko

*Yup. Taco ratings. Some people usually use their own pictures to simulate a 1-5 rating, whether its stars, or smiles, hearts, or whatever. Me? It's tacos. It can't be anything but tacos. Do not question me. I guess alternatively I could use hearts or Japanese characters for yuri or love... but... there is nothing wrong with Tacos. Tacos it is. I am being paid 5 cents every time I say Taco. Ok that is a lie but still tacotacotacotacotacotaco.

Edits and Releases

Ok, there will be three types of releases.

First! Spread releases. This is the most common release. This includes me wandering around the internet, digging through straight crap and yaoi, and pulling out and dusting off rare and exotic yuri gems. A lot of places display the Yuri they find... but why look there when you can look here?

Second! TsundereYuriko Translation Releases! I take either a Source Release or Spread Release, translate it, and post it! I don't do translations very often, and I won't be doing too many. But if you know any Japanese, maybe you'll feel inspired to try some translation yourself if I do alot?

Third! Source Releases. If I ever come across anything new in real life that I have never seen on the interwebs... I'll just have to scan it and post it, now won't I? I'll be subscribing to and scanning Yurihime in the future... unless someone already does that. Link please, for reals. Seriously!

Ok, next up is the controversial topic of editing. Ok, ok. Some people may complain that I choose to do this. But when I mean editing, I don't alter any images or dialougue. I just cut out entire pages. Although there is the rare occurance I will erase a panel to "save" a yuri. Some Yuri doujins have some nasty straight/futa pages, usually in the credits sections, or even entire chapters of it! These pages will be mercilessly destroyed with each release.

Yes... it may go against the wishes of the creator (and/or translator) by removing pages and posting what I approve of. (Actually... some of these creators are perverts anyway, so I guess I don't care?) It may even tick off some completionists, or people who like the other genres. Well, if I have the original file, I'll link you to it's original, unedited, non-used-as-a-taco-napkin file online in the blog post and text file I post with the doujin. If I have it.

Really. Seriously. Taco napkin. That's all they're good for. YES I SAID IT, FUTANARI/STRAIGHT PAGES ARE ONLY GOOD AS TACO NAPKINS! Flamers will be doused and puked on. Or used as human napkins. You really don't want to be my human napkin, especially on Taco Night. You may want to take a shower just even thinking about that. Seriously. Ew.

Nice comments and suggestions appreciated. Hm... getting hungry. When's the next Taco Night?

Triple Tagging

Right, taking a break with my dinner to post this. Before any doujins start being uploaded here, I better talk about my tag policy. I "Triple Tag" all my doujins after carefully reading them, inspecting them, eating tacos over them, and finally accepting them if they are up to standard. Tags will be located on the following places:
1 Next to the download link and name when I post a Doujin here.
2 In the name of the file, abbreviated with letters in parenthesis.
3 In a txt document included with each release.

I believe in never tricking my audience and telling them up front what they can expect. I absolutely detest being tricked by the cover expecting yuri and it turns out to be a straight, a rape, or a futanari!

All files will have either the Y or S abbreviation, along with others. It will have J if it is in Japanese, otherwise assume English. So, here is each Tag I will be using and its abbreviation:
Y: Yuri. Love between women. Used to differentiate from Shoujo-ai. The difference? Yuri is much more mature and usually includes sexual encounters. Do not download and read Yuri if you are under 18. You are free to read any Shoujo-Ai I have though.
S: Shoujo-Ai. Love between women. Shoujo-Ai tends to be more romantic than Yuri, with Yuri focusing on a relationships... er... "benefits." For those who want a doujin focusing on love and a relationship, Shoujo-Ai is your best bet. NOTE: Shoujo-Ai and Yuri are different, but it is hard to tell the difference sometimes. So I just tag S to anything safe for under 18.
C: Color. Manga writers sometimes break out the crayons!
X : Mature Shoujo-Ai.
Used for some Shoujo-Ai's I find, as they may include some nudity or strong language. Notes will follow with each release with an X. Some Yuri may also have an X if they have excessive language.
B: Bondage. Tieing up. I am not a fan of bondage or torture, but light amounts of it are tagged with a B. If I deem it too severe, it will not be approved.
F: Female Dominance. One woman has the other completely subjected to her control.
T: Tools. Usually small vibrators.
D: Dildos and strap-ons. Not a fan of this either, but its there. May include other objects.
3: Three. Who says three is a crowd?
4: Four or more. Here is a crowd. Can contain 4 or more people.
M: Masturbation. There's a party somewhere, but no one was invited.
U: Furry/Monstrous. Used for full fur catgirls, monsters, etc. Not to be confused with bestiality.
N: Nekomimi. Not to be confused with Furry. Nekomimi means cat ears, and will be used for people with animal ears and/or animal tails, most likely cat-like.
I: Incest. Usually between mother and daughter, or between sisters.
G: A guy. Yeah, sometimes a guy will be featured as a minor character for some scenes, or a girl keeps talking about one and her jealous friend intervenes. It happens, but G is still Y.
R: Rape. No sane person likes rape, but some doujins have it, even Y's. Violent rape is not approved.
W: Waterworks. (Pee.) Well, some girls get too excited and mess up in some moments... or there's a toilet scene... you've been warned. Excessive amounts are not approved.
E: Edit. Explanation to follow in post and txt file. Sometimes I have to cut out some pages or entire chapters due to non-yuri content. If I have the original file, I will include a link if you are interested. But I say stay away, I edit for a reason.
Z: Special note, unique. Explanation to follow in post and TXT file.
J: Japanese. If you only know English... well, you probably can't read it. You can still look at the pretty pictures.
0: Award. A doujin, image, or other item gets a special award if it matches my legendary request list. You can see my request lists on the left.

TAGS YOU WILL NEVER SEE: Scat, Guro, Futanari, Straight, Yaoi, Shota, Bestiality. You will never see them. Ever. And if I messed up and uploaded a doujin with such a scene, email me or comment the post immediately so I can remove it! Sometimes I'm so tired I can't think or edit straight... reporting accidental unapproved uploads is highly appreciated!

Right, so play with the tags and click on what you want to find... or just download it all. I don't care. Now, back to my tacos. Mmm, tacos.

Welcome!

Hello and welcome! If you have found my blog, stick a bookmark somewhere, because you will be in for a treat! Yuriko-chan's Yuri Paradise will be a large of collection of... you guessed it, penguin photos. Seriously, Yuri and some Shoujo-Ai.
As you can see I have added many things here since I started. Mostly a lot of doujins. But there is much more to come.
I intend to do several things with this blog.
First, to make a huge database of Yuri! Not to mention be open to submissions from people like you who have new stuff. I intend to have the largest pure Yuri collection on the net!
Second, I plan to do my own translations. Its hard, I only know college level Japanese, and editing raws is difficult too. It will be a difficult project indeed, and I can only do so many as a personal side project. I already have a few doujins translated, but editing dialogue, checking for consistency in translation, cleaning raws and sticking text in... how do all those people do it? I'm so glad an editor volunteered to help me out, which I am very thankful for.
Third! To give you a pure Yuri experience! There aren't many places on the web that have what I call "pure yuri", often hiding their yuri among seas of straight, yaoi and unmentionable material. This site will never feature bestiality, yaoi, straight, scat, high degrees of bondage and violence, shotacon, and never a hint of Futanari. I look long and hard through these websites seizing the most beautiful gems buried in the harshest wastelands.

Right, while I'm at it, I lay out my goals:
1 Provide you with a pure yuri database with no strings attached and no nasty surprises. Everything is tagged to near death, so you will always know what you will be viewing.
2 Have a translated doujin up at least every other month. Hey, I have a life you know. Mostly. I can't translate doujins all day every day. I don't know if I can accept requests, it depends on the rate I recieve them and the rate I can translate.
3 Put up new Yuri as I find it. New Doujins come out every day in Japan, can we catch up?
4 Link to other Yuri sites. And, maybe even be linked back! =D
5 Do it all for FREE!

And finally, things I need from you!
1 As I translate, I might put up individual blogs of each raw doujin. Bilingual commenters are welcome to help me along!
2 Submissions of Doujins I don't have are always welcome! Please please please please don't send me anything I don't approve of. (submissions are not open till I open the website completely, as there is a good chance I have it already. I will say when submissions are open.)
3 Spread the word! Get my name out. Good Yuri is hard to find... unless you come here!
4 Some general tips, please see below.

Guess that's all I should say for now. I just need to get some things straightened out. Hopefully I'll really have this thing going by March or so. Look forward to it!

ps If you have read this far, you must be pretty interested. Maybe you can help! I have so many questions. Whats the best website I can use for sharing doujins? (My current answer: Blogger) What website would be the best to upload my doujins to? (possible answers: Megaupload, rapidshare, my current answer: Mediafire) Can I consider posting lolicon? (Current answer: Blogger and Google have a 0 tolerance toward pedophilia policy, current answer is probably not) Leave a comment or email me at TsundereYuriko at gmail dot com! Comments, advice, help, or even a friendly hello are all appreciated!
